StubHub may be where you bought your tickets, while another provider—such as Ticketmaster, AXS, SeatGeek, DICE, or a venue—holds them and controls the transfer. Before listing on Theatr, check where the tickets are stored and how they can be delivered to another person.
The tickets must also meet Theatr’s listing requirements. Being available for purchase on StubHub does not by itself make an event or ticket eligible for resale on Theatr.
Before listing tickets purchased on StubHub
Check the delivery instructions in your StubHub order. If the tickets have arrived, open them in the original provider’s account or check the actual ticket file.
Confirm a valid delivery method, including any transfer restrictions, deadlines, app requirements, or changing barcodes.
If the tickets have not arrived, check the promised delivery timing and format before committing to a handoff on Theatr. Do not promise immediate delivery while you are still waiting for the tickets.
Confirm the event, date, time, seats, and quantity. Prepare your StubHub proof of purchase showing the event details and price paid per ticket, including fees. Cover barcodes and unrelated personal information.
On Theatr, select StubHub as the ticket source. Choose Via original platform for a ticket that requires transfer through the provider holding it. Choose Instant E-Ticket Transfer only when you already have a valid, independently shareable PDF or static ticket image. For a later handoff, select an accurate Expected Transfer Timing.
After submitting, check the listing under Orders → Sell → Manage. It may be under review, live, or need changes; submitting it does not necessarily mean buyers can purchase it yet. Follow the status and any requested changes shown in the app. See How do I sell tickets on Theatr? for the full listing process.
How to deliver a mobile-transfer ticket after it sells
Open the paid buyer order in Theatr under Orders → Sell → Manage → select the listing → Orders. Use Contact to confirm the email address or phone number required by the provider holding the tickets.
Open that provider’s account and select only the tickets included in the Theatr order.
Use its official transfer feature. Check the recipient and seats before sending.
Follow the provider’s acceptance requirements and make sure the buyer can access the tickets in the required account or app.
Once the handoff is complete, return to Theatr, tap I have transferred the ticket(s), and upload proof. The buyer can view this proof, so hide unrelated personal information.
StubHub’s ticket-delivery guidance explains why mobile transfers happen through the original provider. Follow that provider’s current instructions; there is not one StubHub transfer process that works for every ticket.
How to deliver an eligible PDF ticket
Choose Instant E-Ticket Transfer while listing and use Upload My Tix to upload the complete, valid ticket file. Do not upload your StubHub receipt or a screenshot of a changing mobile barcode in place of the ticket.
Theatr delivers uploaded tickets automatically after purchase. You do not need to send them again or mark them as transferred. See How Instant E-Ticket Transfer works for file and multi-ticket requirements.
If delivery is delayed or blocked
If you are still waiting for the original StubHub order, contact StubHub about that delivery. If the tickets are already in a provider’s account but its transfer fails, contact that provider.
Keep your Theatr buyer informed. For an agreed delay, follow the delayed-transfer steps in Theatr; confirming a delay does not complete ticket delivery. Do not share account credentials or send the same ticket to more than one buyer.
If you cannot complete delivery, the buyer cannot be reached, or the event is approaching, contact Theatr Support about the Theatr order. If you cannot fulfill it, follow the seller cancellation and refund steps. A refund from StubHub or the original provider does not automatically refund your separate Theatr buyer.
