Yes, TodayTix tickets can be resold and transferred on Theatr.
How to list TodayTix tickets on Theatr
Start creating your listing on Theatr.
Upload your proof of purchase. Keep the price paid and event date visible, but hide personal information and ticket barcodes.
Under Ticket Source, select TodayTix.
Under Handoff Method, select Via original platform.
Choose the most accurate Expected Transfer Timing.
Complete and publish the listing.
If your TodayTix order contains multiple tickets, Theatr requires them to be sold and transferred together. TodayTix tickets cannot be split between different buyers in the same Theatr listing.
How to transfer TodayTix tickets after they sell
Open the sold order under Orders → Sell in Theatr.
Review the buyer’s contact information and the tickets included in the order.
Open the relevant booking in the TodayTix app.
Select Transfer.
Select all tickets included in the Theatr order.
Generate the secure TodayTix transfer link.
Send the link to the buyer using the email address or phone number shown in the Theatr order.
Ask the buyer to open the link and sign in to or create a TodayTix account.
Wait for the buyer to accept the tickets.
Return to the Theatr order and tap I have transferred the ticket or I have transferred the tickets.
Under Upload transfer proof, upload a screenshot showing that the TodayTix transfer was accepted.
Tap Upload to confirm the transfer.
Only confirm the transfer in Theatr after the buyer has accepted it and can access the tickets in their TodayTix account.
How long does the buyer have to accept?
A TodayTix transfer link expires 24 hours after it is sent.
If the buyer does not accept it in time, generate a new transfer link and send it through the Theatr order. You can cancel a pending transfer before it is accepted.
Once the buyer accepts the transfer:
The transfer is final and cannot be reversed.
The tickets move to the buyer’s TodayTix account.
The seller can no longer access or use the transferred tickets.
Can I use Instant E-Ticket Transfer?
Do not use Instant E-Ticket Transfer for a TodayTix app ticket with a changing barcode or app-only access. A screenshot of this ticket may not work at the venue.
You may use Instant E-Ticket Transfer only if TodayTix provided a static PDF or downloadable e-ticket that can be shared and the ticket’s terms allow transfer.
If eligible:
Select Instant E-Ticket Transfer as the handoff method.
Tap Upload My Tix.
Upload the complete PDF or a clear image of each ticket.
Finish and publish the listing.
Theatr will automatically deliver the uploaded files after purchase. You will not need to send or confirm them again.
What if the TodayTix tickets are not available yet?
Some TodayTix tickets may not become available until closer to the performance. Select an accurate Expected Transfer Timing when creating the listing.
If the tickets sell before they become available:
Open the order under Orders → Sell.
Tap I can’t make the transfer right now.
Contact the buyer and agree on when the tickets will be transferred.
Upload a screenshot showing that the buyer agreed to the delayed timing.
Submit the delayed transfer confirmation.
Transfer the tickets through TodayTix when they become available.
Return to Theatr and upload proof of the completed transfer.
If the buyer cannot accept the transfer
Ask the buyer to:
Open the transfer link before it expires.
Sign in to or create a TodayTix account.
Use the same contact information that received the transfer link.
Check that the tickets appear in their TodayTix account after acceptance.
If the link expired, cancel the pending transfer if necessary and send a new one. If the buyer still cannot access the tickets, contact TodayTix Member Support and reach Theatr Support through the order.
