Tickets purchased through Broadway.com can be resold on Theatr if they are eligible for resale and delivery. Broadway.com typically delivers tickets by email as a QR-code link or PDF attachment. Some tickets can also be shared from a smartphone wallet.
Choose the Theatr delivery method that matches how you received your tickets.
Before listing Broadway.com tickets
Confirm the performance date, time, section, row, seat, and quantity.
Check whether the tickets are already available or subject to delayed delivery.
Upload proof of purchase with the price paid and event details visible.
Cover personal information and ticket barcodes in your proof of purchase.
Option 1: Upload tickets for instant delivery
Choose Instant E-Ticket Transfer if you already have a complete PDF or static ticket image that can be uploaded to Theatr.
Start your listing and select Broadway.com as the ticket source.
Under Handoff Method, choose Instant E-Ticket Transfer.
Tap Upload My Tix, followed by Upload Tickets.
Upload the complete PDF or ticket image for every seat in the listing.
Confirm that the event and seat information matches your listing, then publish it.
Theatr will automatically deliver the uploaded tickets after they sell. You do not need to contact the buyer or confirm the transfer afterward.
If multiple tickets are contained in one PDF and cannot be separated, list and sell them together.
Option 2: Deliver tickets by email or text
Choose Email or Text if you plan to forward the Broadway.com ticket email, send the PDF after the sale, or share the ticket link with the buyer.
When creating the listing:
Select Broadway.com as the ticket source.
Choose Email or Text under Handoff Method.
Select an accurate Expected Transfer Timing.
Complete and publish the listing.
After the tickets sell:
Open the order under Orders → Sell.
Use the buyer’s contact information shown in the order.
Forward the complete Broadway.com ticket email or send the original PDF or ticket link.
Make sure the buyer receives every ticket included in the order.
Return to Theatr and tap I have transferred the tickets.
Upload a screenshot showing that the tickets were sent, then tap Upload.
Only confirm the transfer after the buyer has access to the tickets.
If the ticket is in your smartphone wallet
Broadway.com allows some individual tickets to be sent from a smartphone wallet. If the wallet provides a sharing option, send the ticket to the buyer using the contact information shown in the Theatr order.
After sending it, confirm the transfer in Theatr and upload a screenshot showing the completed handoff.
If Broadway.com has not released the tickets
Broadway.com may delay access to a ticket’s barcode until approximately 24 hours before the performance.
Choose an accurate Expected Transfer Timing when listing. If the tickets sell before they become available:
Open the sold order and tap I can’t make the transfer right now.
Contact the buyer and agree on when the tickets will be delivered.
Upload a screenshot showing the agreement and submit the delayed-transfer confirmation.
Send the tickets as soon as Broadway.com releases them.
Confirm the transfer in Theatr and upload your transfer proof.
If the tickets require box office pickup
If the Broadway.com order specifically requires will call or box office pickup, select Box office pick up as the handoff method.
Review the pickup instructions carefully before listing. Broadway.com may require the original purchaser’s photo ID, so only list the tickets if the buyer will be able to collect them under the order’s stated requirements. We suggest you to call to update the name for pick-up to your buyer's.
If the buyer cannot find the tickets
Ask the buyer to:
Check their spam or junk folder for the forwarded email.
Confirm that you used the correct email address or phone number.
Open the original ticket link or PDF rather than a cropped screenshot.
You can also check the ticket through Broadway.com’s Order Management page and resend it. If the buyer still cannot access the tickets, contact Broadway.com and reach Theatr Support through the order.
Transfer options and requirements can change. For the most up-to-date information, see Broadway.com’s ticket delivery guidance.
