Use your original listing to put eligible tickets back on sale. Open it under Orders → Sell and check what it shows:
Deactivated: check for Manage → Activate. This can include a listing deactivated after you canceled or fully refunded an order.
Action Needed: read the message. A review request tells you what to update. Action Needed can also mean an offer to answer or an order awaiting transfer.
The listed event time has passed: the listing has expired and can’t be reactivated.
What should I check before relisting?
The event is still upcoming and in the New York City area.
You control valid, unused tickets and can deliver them. They must not still be committed to another buyer or an active Theatr order.
The event, date, time, seats, remaining quantity, delivery method and expected transfer time are correct.
You can deliver the tickets before the performance.
The price is at or below what you paid per ticket, including fees. Public Proof of Purchase images show the price and event details, with ticket codes and unnecessary personal information hidden.
If an order is still active, editing or deactivating the listing does not cancel it. To end it, follow How do I cancel or refund an order as a seller?
Canceling or refunding an order doesn’t take back tickets you already sent. A refund does not reverse an external transfer or invalidate a saved file. If the first buyer may still have usable access, contact us before relisting.
How do I reactivate a deactivated listing?
Use these steps if the event is still upcoming and no review request is outstanding. For an Instant E-Ticket Transfer listing with tickets already sold, use the separate section below instead.
Go to Orders → Sell.
Find and open the original listing.
Tap Manage → Activate.
If you need to change details first, use Manage → Edit, make the changes, then tap Update. This also reactivates an eligible deactivated listing, so check all details before saving.
If the buyer canceled, the tickets may already be on sale. Check the listing first; see What do I do if my buyer cancels?
Activate is unavailable if Theatr is still waiting for requested information or proof, including after you deactivate that listing. Follow the review steps below.
How do I republish a listing marked Action Needed?
Tap Review at the top of the listing page, or open it under Orders → Sell and read the review message.
If the message says the event is outside the New York City area, changing proof won’t resolve it. If the event is actually within the supported area, contact us with the venue’s name, address and the message.
For requested corrections or documents, update the same listing:
Tap Review on the listing page, or Update Listing on the review card under Orders → Sell.
Make the requested changes. If documents were requested, upload them for review.
Check the details, then tap Publish to submit for review.
In Review means the listing isn’t available to buyers yet. Looking for buyer means it’s live. Read any new review message before updating again.
If you only see This listing is closed, open the listing from Orders → Sell. If the review message, Review or Update Listing is still missing, contact us with the listing details and a screenshot. Continue in your existing support conversation if you have one. See What does my listing’s status mean?
Why can’t I reactivate an expired listing?
A listing expires once its listed performance time has passed. You can’t reactivate it or change it to a different performance. Separate, eligible tickets for a future event need their own listing.
What if some tickets in an Instant E-Ticket Transfer listing already sold?
Once any tickets in an Instant E-Ticket Transfer listing have sold, you can’t edit or reactivate it after deactivation. To sell the remaining eligible tickets, create a new listing with only the unsold ticket files. Leave out tickets already delivered to a buyer: refunding their order does not take those files back.
If Theatr has told you a ticket isn’t eligible for sale, don’t relist it until that issue is resolved.
What if I no longer want to sell the tickets?
If the listing is active, deactivate it to stop new purchases.
If the review message says We need more information, the tickets aren’t on sale. To withdraw the listing, use Manage → Deactivate; you don’t need to complete the changes or resubmit. A taken-down listing is already off sale.
Deactivating declines pending offers but doesn’t cancel existing orders. Those orders still need to be fulfilled unless canceled separately.
