Tickets purchased directly from Broadway Direct can be listed on Theatr for resale. When creating your listing, select Broadway Direct as the ticket source and choose how you want to deliver the tickets.
The two recommended delivery options are:
Instant E-Ticket Transfer: Upload ticket screenshots while creating the listing. Theatr automatically delivers them when they sell.
Via original platform: Transfer the tickets through Broadway Direct after they sell.
Option 1: Use Instant E-Ticket Transfer
This is usually the quickest way to sell and deliver Broadway Direct tickets.
Start creating your listing on Theatr.
Upload your proof of purchase. Keep the price paid and event date visible, but hide personal information and ticket barcodes.
Under Ticket Source, select Broadway Direct.
Under Handoff Method, select Instant E-Ticket Transfer.
Tap Upload My Tix.
Upload a clear screenshot of each ticket and match it to the correct seat when prompted.
Complete and publish the listing.
When the tickets sell, Theatr automatically delivers the uploaded tickets to the buyer. You do not need to transfer them again or confirm the transfer after the sale.
Do not use or share the tickets after they have been sold.
Option 2: Transfer through Broadway Direct after the sale
If you prefer to use Broadway Direct’s ticket-transfer feature:
Select Broadway Direct as the ticket source.
Under Handoff Method, select Via original platform.
Choose your Expected Transfer Timing.
Complete and publish the listing.
After the tickets sell:
Open the sold order in Theatr. The buyer’s chosen contact information will appear in the order.
Sign in to the Broadway Direct account used to purchase the tickets.
Open Tickets and select Transfer Tickets.
Select the tickets sold on Theatr.
Enter the buyer’s email address and send the transfer.
Return to the Theatr order and tap I have transferred the ticket or I have transferred the tickets.
Under Upload transfer proof, upload a screenshot showing that the Broadway Direct transfer was sent.
Tap Upload to confirm the transfer.
Broadway Direct requires an email address for ticket transfers. If the buyer selected text message as their contact method, use the Contact button in the Theatr order to ask for the email address they want to use.
Double-check the email before sending. Until you confirm the transfer in Theatr, the buyer may be able to cancel the order.
If the buyer cannot find the Broadway Direct transfer
Ask the buyer to:
Check their spam or junk folder.
Confirm that you used the correct email address.
Sign in to Broadway Direct with the same email address used for the transfer.
Check for a pending ticket transfer in their account.
You can also review the transfer status in your Broadway Direct account. If the event is approaching and the buyer still cannot access the tickets, contact Broadway Direct and reach Theatr Support through the order.
Transfer options and requirements can change. For the most up-to-date information, see Broadway Direct’s ticket delivery guidance.
