Action Needed means your listing needs attention before the remaining tickets can go on sale. The message on the listing explains what to change, what proof to add, or why the event cannot be listed. Those tickets are currently unavailable to buyers.
Find the review message
Go to Orders → Sell.
Open the listing marked Action Needed.
Read the message and any requests for changes or additional documents.
You can also check the email about your listing. If a link from your profile only says This listing is closed, use the Orders path above.
Make the requested changes and submit again
If you want to keep selling and the message asks for changes or more proof, update the same listing:
Tap Update Listing.
Make the changes named in the review message. For additional proof, expand the review card and choose Upload under Add note to our review team (optional). These files are private to the review team; follow the proof-of-purchase guide to prepare them.
Check the listing, then tap Publish to submit it for review.
After submission, In Review means it is still being checked and is not available to buyers. Looking for buyer means it is live. If more changes are requested, read the new message before submitting again.
What might need changing?
Your review message tells you which of these applies:
Proof is missing or does not show a completed purchase, the event details or the amount paid.
The price, event, date, time or seat details need correcting.
Public Proof of Purchase images expose barcodes or QR codes.
The listing asks for outside payment or seller contact, or leaves out a ticket restriction.
If a ticket image leaves out the original fees, add a receipt or purchase confirmation showing the full amount paid. You do not need to lower an accurate original price just because the printed ticket price is lower. If your asking price exceeds what you paid per ticket, including original ticketing fees, lower it.
If you no longer want to sell
You do not need to make the requested changes or submit the listing again. For an Action Needed listing asking for changes or more proof:
Open it through Orders → Sell.
Choose Manage → Deactivate and confirm.
This withdraws the listing; it does not delete it or cancel tickets already sold. If you want to sell it later, you will need to complete the requested changes and submit it for review. See How do I deactivate my listing?
If the message says the event cannot be listed
Theatr currently supports events in the New York City area. Adding more proof will not make an event outside that area eligible. Keep the venue accurate; do not change it to a different location.
If your event is in the supported area, contact Support with the venue name, address and message you received so we can check it. The same applies to a location message saying This event can’t be listed while creating a listing.
If you cannot complete the steps or disagree with the review
For a missing message, Update Listing or Deactivate button, first check the listing through Orders → Sell and look for an app update. If you still cannot proceed, contact Support with the listing details and a screenshot.
If you think the decision is wrong, explain what seems incorrect and include documents that support it. Continue your existing conversation with us if you have one. We will review the information and tell you the next step.
What about tickets already sold?
Removing a listing does not automatically cancel existing orders. Open them under Orders → Sell and complete any required delivery steps. If the listing issue also prevents you from fulfilling an order, contact Support with the order details.
Does Action Needed affect my account?
Action Needed does not, by itself, mean your account is restricted. We will notify you separately about any account action. A listing removed because the event is outside the supported area is not a seller violation.
