How do buyers and sellers contact each other on Theatr?

Find out when buyers and sellers can contact each other on Theatr, what to include in a delivery message, and when to contact Support.

Buyer and seller contact is primarily for completing a paid order. Before purchase, buyers cannot directly message a seller. A note attached to an offer does not open an ongoing conversation.

After purchase, use the Contact button in the order. Theatr opens your device's email or text app with the order contact details; messages are sent outside Theatr, so save anything relevant to delivery or a dispute.

How a buyer contacts a seller

  1. Open Orders, choose Buy, and select the order.

  2. Open the order actions and choose Contact Seller. If you opened the Help menu, Contact Seller appears there while the order is active.

  3. Send the prepared email or text in your device's messaging app.

  4. State the delivery problem or question clearly and include the relevant timing.

  5. If the seller does not respond and the event is approaching, contact Theatr Support from the same order.

How a seller contacts a buyer

  1. Open Orders, choose Sell, and select the order.

  2. Tap Contact on the buyer card. Theatr opens an email or text using the contact method in the order.

  3. Identify the event and explain exactly what the buyer needs to do—for example, accept an official transfer.

  4. Keep the message and any delivery confirmation until the event has passed.

Keep communication safe

  • Do not request or send payment outside Theatr.

  • Do not share passwords, full payment-card numbers, government IDs, or unnecessary personal information.

  • Use the contact details only to complete or support the order.

  • Be specific and respectful.

When to contact Theatr Support

Contact Support if the ticket has not arrived, a transfer cannot be completed, the event is close, the other person is unresponsive, or you believe the listing or order is suspicious. If a transferred ticket is invalid or materially different from the listing, open a dispute within the current deadline rather than relying only on messages.
