Yes. Tickets purchased using a voucher, credit, or gift card can be listed as long as they meet Theatr’s selling requirements.
Tickets on Theatr can only be listed at or below the amount you actually paid, including fees. Whether a voucher, credit, or gift card counts toward that amount depends on where the value came from.
How do vouchers or credits affect my listing price?
Paid vouchers, gift cards, and credits can count
The value can count toward the amount you paid if it came from:
A voucher or gift card you purchased
Credit from an earlier order you paid for that was canceled or refunded
Other stored value that was funded with your own money
Add that value to any remaining amount charged for the new order when determining what you paid.
For example, if one ticket costs $129 and you use $100 in credit from an earlier paid order, followed by a $29 card payment, the total amount paid toward the ticket is $129.
Discounts and free promotional credits don’t count
Value you received without paying for it doesn’t count toward the amount paid. This may include:
A promotional or percentage discount
A referral reward
Free promotional credit
Goodwill credit provided after a service issue
For example, if a ticket has a $129 subtotal and a $20 promotional discount reduces the order total to $109, the amount paid is $109.
If your order includes multiple tickets, calculate the amount paid per ticket using the ticket total and purchase fees shown on your receipt.
What proof should I upload?
Upload your receipt or order confirmation showing:
The event name
The event date and time
The ticket price and purchase fees
The voucher, credit, gift card, or discount applied
The final order total
If the receipt doesn’t show where the voucher or credit came from, also upload one of the following:
A receipt showing that you purchased the voucher or gift card
The earlier paid order confirmation together with a cancellation or refund record showing that its value was returned as account credit
If one image doesn’t show everything, you can upload more than one.
Your proof of purchase is visible on your listing, so make sure to fully cover all ticket barcodes and QR codes. You should also hide names, addresses, contact info, payment-card information, confirmation numbers, and the actual voucher or gift card code. Keep the relevant amounts and any description showing how the credit was received visible.
What if my receipt doesn’t show where the credit came from?
If the receipt doesn’t establish whether the voucher or credit was paid for or received for free, we may ask for additional proof before we can confirm the amount paid.
