How do I put my tickets back on sale?

Find out whether your tickets are already back on sale, how to reactivate a deactivated listing, and what to do when you can’t.

Open Orders → Sell and select the original listing. Check whether the tickets are already on sale and read any message shown there.

A buyer canceled

Canceled tickets go back on sale automatically if the event is still upcoming and the listing is active. Check the original listing first. If the tickets are already on sale, you don’t need to reactivate it.

If you already sent the tickets, follow what to do if your buyer cancels to check whether they can be offered again. While that is unclear, use Manage → Deactivate if those tickets are back on sale.

You deactivated the listing

Before putting the tickets back on sale, check that you can still deliver them and that they are unused and not part of an active order. Check the event, date, time, seats, quantity, price and handoff timing. If a previous buyer might still be able to use them, see “Get help” below before reactivating or saving changes.

If the listing used “Upload e-tickets to Theatr” (or “Instant E-Ticket Transfer”) and any tickets had sold, use “Tickets already sold from an uploaded listing” below instead.

Tap Manage → Activate to put the tickets back on sale.

For changes, edit the listing. Saving changes can also put it back on sale, so check the details before saving.

The listing needs attention

If you see “Action Needed”, open the listing and read the prompt. It can concern an order, an offer, a review request or a takedown. The label alone doesn’t mean the tickets are off sale.

“In Review” means the tickets aren’t on sale during review. See what each listing status means for review timing and the steps for any requested changes. Activate isn’t available while a request for changes is outstanding.

The event has started or all tickets sold

An “Expired” or “Sold Out” listing can’t be reactivated. A listing whose performance time has passed also can’t be changed to a different performance.

Tickets already sold from an uploaded listing

If an uploaded e-ticket listing was deactivated after any tickets sold, it can’t be edited or reactivated.

Create a new listing for the unsold tickets, choose Upload e-tickets to Theatr and upload only those unsold ticket files. Leave out every file a buyer already received, even if that order was refunded.
